I'm hosting a shower for a friend (I'm her MOH in Nov.) and it's an October lunch shower. Do you ladies have good, easy fall-like recipes that would be good for a crowd? Thanks much!!

I'm trying to find the right recipe online, if not I will get my paper copy from home and page you with it tomorrow. Really easy and they are so good. I have a request to make them for an upcoming work party.

They sound amazing, but I'm totally grossed out by shortening. Do you think substituting oil or unsweetened applesauce would work?
