Our church accidentally double booked and therefore we had to move our ceremony time up to 11:30. The reception starts at 5:30 (with cocktails/hors d'oeuvres). There is nothing I can do about the times unfortunately. The distance between the two is about 25 min. I just wanted to know people's thoughts... will most people just attend the reception? Would people consider going home? Are they going to "complain" or is think it's poor planning on my part? We have big families and a lot of OOT. I feel like its such a big inconvenience for everyone. Any suggestions to make things more accommodating for people that are attending both and not going home? Thanks!
