How much should I expect to pay for on-location hair and makeup for myself + 3 bridesmaids (wedding in Midtown Manhattan)? I've been looking around, and the numbers are scaring me a little.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Everything in midtown is going to be a little expensive...I don't really know how much you are looking to spend.

I love, love, love my MUA (she is actually doing my makeup and hair for the third time in a few weeks, for my daugther's christening).  Her name is Tricia Catenaro and her website is www.tenhairandmakeup.com. Her prices are all on her website, and she will travel to you.

I have a full review of her in my married bio, link in siggy (she was Bluma Beauty then).  She had only done my make-up then, but she'll be doing my  hair as well in a few weeks so I'll have more to review then!

I loved my MUA as well - Stacey from Fresh Face Forward (www.freshfacefwd). They do hair as well and I think prices are on the website.

I went with Stacy Pitt for hair, and she is fabulous.  Her prices are on her website at www.stylesonb.com

i second Tricia from Ten Hair and Makeup.  She will be doing my wedding (5 bridesmaids, my mom and FMIL).  She is great, and has very reasonable prices.

I had Anna K. do my makeup and hair. i loved it, she did airbrush makeup and it stayed on from 6am till 2am

I was a bridesmaid and had my hair/makeup done by Sachiko Yanese.  She was wonderful!  It was an calm, relaxing experience.  Unfortunately, she was booked for my wedding date.
