What do you wear to Melting Pot?

We're going Sunday for our one week anniversary (Well a day late... they didn't have any reservations on Sat). Anywho, how fancy is it? I have this maxi dress. I could also do nice jeans with a nice top and flats. Should H wear jeans, dress shoes and a button up shirt? I'm super excited to try Melting Pot!

I usually wear jeans and a nice top with heels. Last time we went I did wear a dress and Shane was in khakis and a polo.

I like that dress! I wore a knee length satin cocktail dress last time I went. FI wore khakis and a button down. But I saw lots of people in there in nicer jeans.

Yikes, I don't know what Melting Pots you guys are going to but in my opinion it's totally casual.  Not saying you can't dress up.  I'd definitely wearing nicer casual clothes if I were going for a special date.  But last time I went was for my brothers birthday and I wore jeans, tshirt, sneakers.  Wear whatever makes you happy! Have fun!

It's not super fancy. It's just pricey for what it is. You'll be fine in that.

If you want to try and make it a little more *affordable*, you could split an entree. Seriously, there's so much food. It doesn't look like a lot at first, but by the time you get to dessert (YAYYYYYYYY) you'll be glad you didn't gorge yourself on the first 3 courses. FI and I always split an entree and with drinks it's about $75. And they practically have to roll us out of there.

I would say whichever outfit you don't mind smelling like oil when you leave  I can totally smell that on my clothes when I leave there.

Make sure to get the yin-yang chocolate martini.  It's fabulous!
