David's Bridal in East Brunswick

Has anyone gone there to try on and/or buy a dress? Would you recommend this particular store and their team? Thanks!

The EB Davids Bridal is actually a great store for dresses, i just wouldn't rec'md them for alterations. VERY EXPENSIVE!

I actually bought my dress there.  However, you definitely need to go on a day that they're not so busy so that the rep can give you their full attention. agree with pp though - alterations at DB are expensive.  I had mine done my a seamstress that works out of her home in the norht/south brunswick area

I bought a bridemaid gown there and had a great experience (had it altered at a different place) Then I went back to pick something up, and got total attitude because it was about 5 minutes to closing time, THEY left both doors unlocked and all the customers were out of the store...all (or the majority) of the sales team was at the front, the manager closing out the day. I walked in to ask a question and all HE!! broke loose, b/c they were "closed."

I went there to look at dresses and had a good experience. I made my appointment so I was the first one of the day and it worked out really well. The story was basically empty expect for a few girls trying on BM dresses and I had the sales person mostly to myself and I got to try on a ton of dresses. I didn't buy from there though, so I can't comment on that.

I bought a bridesmaid dress there for a wedding a few years ago.  I walked in, ordered it and picked it up later, I did not get alterations there so they made me pick it up within 5 days. I think all DB follow the same suit in that though, they pushed for me to order it becasue they said there was aonly a little time and it took 6 weeks to get in, and it came in in 2.  Same happened to my girlfriend with her wedding dress at a different DB, they forced the sale the day of and she was stuck with her dress in her house till fittings started 6 weeks prior to the wedding.
