I ordered one before we decided we weren't going to do it and it's not the most comfortable thing in the world. I probably wont wear it.

I am not doing the toss, but I am going to get a garter.. I think will will be a nice bonus for the FI... spice things up. LOL

We're not doing the toss and I don't plan to wear a garter. I have some hefty legs so I imagine it'd be uncomfortable

I asked FI if he wanted me to get one that he could take off later (Devils, Yankees or Giants-themed, something he likes) but he said no.

Ok great thank you so much for the feedback, I don't think I'm gonna wear one either. We might buy a special one for our 'best man' because he always catches the garter at all the weddings we've been to, since he is in the NYPD I was thinking of getting him an NYPD one and giving it to him as a joke, part of his gift.

nope i had no desire to wear one. I got a cheapy one to do for the toss and then i couldnt find it. Syn ended up throwing is bout.

DH is a big NY Giants fan, and someone here posted a link to someone who made sports garters, so I did get one. Got a few pics of me putting it on when I was getting ready, then i took it off and completely forgot about it. I think a day or 2 after I told DH that I had it. He has it hanging on his rear view mirror now. If you want to get one, do it, but certainly far from necessary.

Yes, I wore a Jets one. It wasn't uncomfortable at all- once I put it on, I forgot it was there. The only way I can see it being uncomfortable is if it's too tight.
