I met with time machine - they are amaaaazzzzzzing, seen them at other weddings, but their packages for 4 piece band they told me start at $6,500, so they are prettty expensive but if you can afford them - they are fab!

I saw them at a bridal show (Time machine)- they were booked for my date, but I overheard they are in the $8-10k range for a full sized band (like 9 pieces or so) for an evening wedding.  Most of the good bands seem to be around $1k per musician give or take. The band we booked is $1k per person, but we got a discount since my sister used them too, which is awesome.

I booked Time Machine for my upcoming wedding... they are flexible. im paying 7000 for a 12 piece band including ceremony and cocktail trio. i ended up canceling the ceremony keyboard player and was able to get additional 10 percent off for paying in full several months in advance. I have heard Brian Kirk and the Jirks also.. and they are great, they are more of a cover band.. i have only heard them at bars.. not at a wedding, so i wouldnt know what to expect... but they are definitely more of a concert feel.

We used time machine for our wedding in August. It was a Friday night wedding and we paid $5500 for a 9 piece band. They are absolutely fantastic.... definitely worth every penny.

We had the 12-piece Time Machine Band, a keyboardist for the ceremony and a jazz trio for the cocktail hour for our wedding in August & loved them! They were great!

Yeah, that is what turned me off with time machine, they have a super expensive rate, but then you hear of people paying 50% off that at times.

We used smokin section, around 6K for a 9 piece, killer brass section, and they offer live private showcaes at their studio.  You can't go wrong.  I am a musician and when I saw them I saw talent.  They are 100%  live, and don't use gimmicks like some bands do (Fuzz Pops, Oasis) by using pre-recorded backing tracks on some songs as fillers.

Brian Kirk...I dunno, I guess it depends on what you are after, but I don't consider them a wedding band.  I suppose they could put on a fun show, but will all your guests like that sort of show?
