Macy's Registry Help

I think I recall reading here you that some of you ladies got star rewards cards or gift cards after you wedding, can any of you confirm and how did that come about!

I opened a Macy's charge card a couple months after we registered there, and when I signed up for the card I let them know we had a wedding registry set up so that they could "attach" the card to the registry.

We got a Macy's gift card in the mail about a month or two after the wedding. It was only about $40, since I think most people purchased stuff off our Bed Bath & Beyond registry ... but hey, I'll take it, it's free money! We haven't used it yet because there's nothing we've wanted to get just yet, but it expires in November (7 months after our wedding) so we'll find something to spend it on before then.

I think it's 5% of whatever anyone bought you off the registry, and if you use your card to buy yourself something (I don't even think it needs to be a registry item) you get 10%. Double-check those percentages.

Thanks its only been a few weeks (3) to be exact, so I will wait a bit more and see what comes up Most of our registry was Macys' so I am hoping we get some good stuff I also have an account there which should help too!

You have to have your Macy's card linked to your registry.  We got a decent amount....probably close to $150.
