I'm back and a MG

Hey everyone! Long time no post...lol....We got married at Ravello's on 10/1....It poured outside, but everything went well for the most part...Ravello's was amazing. Dominic our maitre D went above and beyond for us. My father even tipped him and he doesn't ever tip extra. The food and service were exceptional. Everyone kept telling us how good the food and service was. We got there early and they had food and drinks set up for us. They even told us we could get there as early as we wanted to take pictures. Also, we left a lot of stuff behind. The next morning we went back and it was all packed up for us ready to go. I couldn't be happier with their service. I would recommend them highly and we even had a few people at the wedding comment that they were interested in using them.
Avenue florist also was amazing. They were below my budget and I was extremely happy with all of my flowers. I highly recommend them.
Jason Rhee was great....everyone loved him. He actually gave us a lot of directives at times and everyone commented on how great he was. He was early and stayed until the very end.
Daniel Lee Video (not Daniel himself) was not so great, but Daniel himself has been very apologetic and is doing what he can to make up for it. His video guy did not show up until cocktail hour...yup...he missed the whole ceremony and I didn't realize it until after the ceremony. I remember looking around for the videographer during the ceremony, but I figured that since everyone said they were so unobrusive that I just didn't see them. Nope...I didn't see them because they weren't there. I called when we got back to the bridal suite and the videographer himself barely appologized and made excuses, even tried to blame Daniel. While they were videotaping, I do have to admit that they were unobtrusive, but I cannot fully review them until I get the video back. Daniel himself has called me several times and is willing to go and get ceremony footage from my family members that video taped the ceremony and pictures from Jason to incorporate in the video.
E Squared Productions were our DJs. They had the floor packed the whole entire night. Everyone loved the music and their personalities. I definitely would recommend them.
For our honeymoon, we went to Secrets Maroma Beach...It was AMAZING!!!! The staff and service were exceptional. The food was great and we are both very picky. The beach was gorgeous and the pools were very nice and clean. They were extremely accomodating, as they moved us to a penthouse suite after my DH complained about noisy neighbors. We heard many other couples with stories of being accomodated. They had top shelf liquor and the beds were very comfortable. We had an amazing time and we were so sad to leave. The staff bent over backwards with their service and were always pleasant and smiling. We never felt unsafe. I brought both rings and left them in the safe while on the beach or pool. We left our Ipod and phones out, and nothing was touched. We met so many nice couples and would love to go back for an anniversary.

Also, we used The Hotel Westminster, for after wedding accomodations. The hotel is very nice and the beds are super comfortable. Everyone that stayed there commented on how nice the hotel was. They provided us with shuttle service prior to the ceremony and after the wedding.

Overall, everything went well for the most part, other than the videographer snafu. Please feel free to ask further about any of the vendors I have used.
