Caesar's Palace Brides- need your input!

I have started planning my July 2011 LV Caesars Palace wedding... and I have chosen to have it in the Venus Garden. I have yet to contact the wedding planner about this, because I wanted to get some feedback. Do you all feel this was a nice location for the package prices? How do you feel the quality of the photography was? How far in advance do you feel I should book the wedding and do you have to pay in full up front?

Lots of questions I know, I just would appreciate your feedback. Its kind of stressful planning from Dallas. :) Thanks ladies!!!!

I'm a Venus Garden bride, and I absolutely loved having my ceremony there. I know that getting married at one of the major casinos is pricey, but I don't I would've done if Caesars hadn't done the price drop. About 2 yrs ago, the top package was going for $8,100!!!!!(compared to $4,100), so I don't think I would've got married at the garden if it was those outrageous prices.
Their preferred photography isn't the worst, and if you wish to use them, I suggest you have a consultation with them to insure the type of pictures you'd like them to take.

I'd give them a call to check on your date, and to lock the date and time you'd like to have your ceremony. I'm not sure how far in advance you can book your ceremony. I think you have to give 25% down to lock the date, but I'm not too sure., but I know that you don't have to pay in full up front.

Good luck in planning and Welcome to the board! :)

Welcome!  I am getting married at Caesaes in 2 weeks.  I booked my date about 7 months in advance, but the original venue I wanted was already booked, so I had to pick a different chapel.

We had to pay a $500 deposit to secure the date and venue.  So far I have been very pleased with them.

I don't have any experience with the photog yet, but I am not expecting much.  I'll have full reviews in a few weeks though.

    Happy planning!

Welcome!  I have some info from the original info email I received from Caesars. I hope it helps! (Sorry for the weird fonts - I'm just cutting and pasting from an email)

    Package Deposits:

The Bella Luna package requires full payment within one week of booking your wedding.

The Roman and Cleopatra package requires a $500 non-refundable deposit however does go towards the packages price.

The Caesar packages require an $800 Non-Refundable deposit.

The La Dolce Vita package requires a $2000.00 Non-Refundable deposit.

If your wedding ceremony is booked within 90 days of the event, a 50% deposit is required on all packages except the Bella Luna.  Payment may be made by credit/debit card, money order or cashier's check made out to Caesars Palace. The package balance and payment for any upgrades are due one month prior to the wedding.

**Note:  If the wedding is booked less than 2 months from the ceremony date: Full package payment is due at the date determined by the booking coordinator.

I'm a Caesars bride getting married in 12 days!!!

We went with the Bella Luna package because we didn't want the extras. My wedding coordinator has been very helpful and reasons quickly.  We booked the Gardens 8 months out.

I'll be posting reviews when I come back.

we booked the Cleopatra package for the Juno Garden back in February 2010 (our wedding is April 2011).  we had to pay a $500 deposit.  we've also booked Todd from Bentley & WIlson and will pay the $200 outside vendor fee instead of using Caesars photographer.  its ALOT cheaper - if you want to buy a cd with all your pictures on it.

Thank you so much for your input ladies! :) I will look into an outside vendor and dropping my package price, if i feel necessary. So far I was hoping to go with the Caesar package, because it has everything I would need (flowers, hair, makeup, etc.) however I am sure if I got a cheaper package and just added those on separately I could probably get it for less. :)

Thanks again and best of luck with your upcoming weddings! PLEASE post back to let me know how the pictures came out... and of course, how the wedding turned out! :)
