Caesar's Palace Brides!

Hi, I am new to the boards and my fiance and I are getting married at CP in one of the gardens on St. Patrick's Day 2012! We are getting sooo excited! I am at the very beginning stages of planning and I was wondering if any of the Caersar's Palace brides could send me some less thought of ideas and tips! We are paying for the wedding ourselves with a little bit of help from my parents. Its going to be small, probably around 30-40 people. I am hoping to do a cocktail reception or a wedding lunch at the Trevi as I have fallen in love with the look of it!
I would be extremely appreciative of any help! Thank you! Laughing

congrats on choosing CP! I recently chose them and I'm veryyyy excited for our ceremony - just a few days before yours - March 15th. Good luck in your planning and welcome!

Are you in the gardens or a chapel?

If you haven't chosen a package yet here's an FYI...
when I booked my Saturday wedding ceremony I asked for the Bella Luna package, eventhough, according to the CP website, it's only available on weekdays. They said sure!

I like it because it's cheapest and doesn't include a ton of the extras that I didn't want.

</div><div>Congrats to you too!! I am hoping to book the Venus Garden....just hoping it won't be too chilly. But I figure the ceremony isn't that long and the guests should be able to be ok for as short as the ceremony is! lol! </div>

Congrats and welcome to the board! They do not allow outside photography but allow outside flower vendors. I'm a 2012 bride too but June. :-) The ceremony will probably be about 10 mins. I'm a Juno bride with a package that includes a ton, Caesars package. HTH

Welcome to the board, I was just married in the Venus garden on May 5th. It is beautiful. I had the cleopatra package mainly because I wanted to stay in the room they offered for 2 nights. Everything went pretty well with them: my flowers weren't the exact colors I wanted but they were pretty nonetheless. My ceremony lasted about 10 mins so I think your guests will be fine.

March is usually less chilly than February, I wouldn't worry too much!

I booked the Cleopatra package and am in the Venus garden. I also picked the latest time we could that was open since the wedding is in June and I know its going to HOT but maybe later wouldn't be as bad. We shall see.  We are using our 2 nights 2 days after the wedding as well.

    HTH

FI & I are getting married in the Venus Garden in 2 1/2 weeks! We went with the cleopatra package as it offers alot of extras that we liked. We chose not to use their flowers and I had a friend of the fam. make our bouquets. Caesars quoated me $700, I paid $175.

    Congrats & Happy Planning

Welcome!  I'm getting married at CP in 11 days (in the Classico chapel) and I was also booked to have a reception at Trevi at one point.  Michelle is great to work with there, so helpful.  Only reason we changed reception venues was because Maggiano's opened up for our date.  I have all the price sheets on CP, if u want PM me your email and I'll send them to you.  Just beware CP 'extras' are not cheap!

Agreed! I am getting married July 9th in the Venus Gardens- Cleopatra Package. Book ASAP, as prices tend to go up and dates fil up! My lunch reception is being held at Canaletto's in the Venetian because I thought they had a great menu at a reasonable price per person. Also, they don't really charge extra for things like PA system, decor, etc. Welcome and congrats!!

I dunno what you girls are complaining about but i found the flowers to be pretty reasonably priced....We just used standard roses, which i guess are always in season so maybe that helped.

Congrats!  I booked mine for the Classico Chapel as well.  It sounds like you are planning on having an early wedding.  The Juno Gardens is outside right by the pool, so you might be able to hear noise from people in the pool and you and your guests might also have to walk past the pool on your way to the garden..   When I went on my scouting trip, I had to walk past the pool to get to the garden but I am not sure if there is another way there. I think the pools closes around 5 or so.  I am not sure where the Venus Garden is.  I know a lot of brides have been married at the Gardens so they can advise better than me regarding the noise etc.  I just wanted to give you a heads up.

totally did not hear the pool when we got married at the venus garden - i think they turn down the music during your ceremony and the keyboardist's music covers the remaining noise. I remember hearing birds tweeting during ours (dunno if they were real or not - it is vegas after all!)
