Honeymoon perks in Vegas?

Hi! My fiance and I are going to be honeymooning in Vegas next month for six nights and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with complimentary upgrades or other perks while they were in Vegas on their honeymoon. I have heard of some hotels giving free suite upgrades and Stripburger apparently will give you free champagne. Anything else you have heard of? We aren't tight-ass pennypinchers. It is more about the once-in-a-lifetime experience and fun. TIA!

We switched over to Excalibur for the night after our wedding/our last night in Vegas before we flew home and mentioned we just got married.  We reserved a widescreen upgraded room but ended up with a widescreen spa room.

It was a nice gesture - I don't recall us mentioning it anywhere else as it was a pretty low key day after a night of partying. :)

Our room got upgraded at Planet Hollywood for free, but that was about it. It's Vegas - they hear, "It's our birthday/anniversary/honeymoon/etc" all the time so it doesn't really seem to phase people, sad to say.

Yeah, we didn't get anything from NYNY when we mentioned that we were on our honeymoon.

Caesars didn't give us anything more that wasn't included in our wedding package when we checked in for our honeymoon the Monday after the wedding. Although the room we had was very nice, it was included already.

You can always mention it, ya know it can't hurt either way.

We didn't get jack from MB for it being a wedding/honeymoon.  I couldn't even get an early check in for the honeymoon suite (I had overlapping skyview suite reservations since we wanted a differnet room from the one me and the groomsmen had been partying in).  I do think I got a few free drinks from various places the day before the wedding when I was wearing my "game over" t-shirt.

Yeah, I think some of the off-strip resorts like Red Rock and GVR are a little more willing to go out of their way - I still can't believe the killer suite we got for our wedding because of our room block...

That's awesome Direy! I love GVR. I bet you had a nice view from your room! I also wanted to add, if you're booking with TA they can mention to the hotel that you're on a HM. Our TA did this for us in Italy and some hotels gav us an upgrade, champagne or wine, and beautiful fruit platters. And also a very nice letter to the new Mr and Mrs. It was so cool! lol
