It's coming together!

I'm really bad about lurking and not commenting...  Thank you guys for all the help I've gotten, even though you didn't know you were helping :)

Since my last post, I've booked our ceremony location and hotel room at Planet Hollywood.  I did a lot of lurking before finally paying the deposit.  I've got my dress from Alfred Angelo and sent out invitations (Vistaprint Living Social deal so only $10!).  Family and friends are starting to book their trip... we're really excited :)

Our wedding is at 1:00 so we'll be proving a reception lunch somewhere.  We are hoping to find a yummy Mexican place.  Any suggestions would be great!

NOW, I need to pick a wedding color for my boquet...  I'm not picky so that's my problem.  Oh, and shoes - I want fun shoes so am on a search.

la salsa cantina has a good menu. its right by the m&m factoy. They start at $19. Inside MGM, Diego is really good. no idea what their group menu costs. BorderGrill inside MB has group dining. Off strip, I would recomed Firefly. The paradise location is pretty close and I've eaten there before. Their sangria is yummy

How about these for some fun shoes?!

Gribbles had them for her big day and I think they look fantastic!!

They're from a UK based site but they do deliver to the USA and have them in stock.

Here's the website for a peek

I just realized, I checked something else of my list.  I scheduled boudoir photography as a wedding gift.  I'm slightly nervous, but champagne is included so hopefully that helps :)

We are getting married October 22.  I love October weather!

LilMissScareAll: Salsa Cantina was at the top of my list.  They seem very reasonable.  Good sangria sounds tempting, though... I'd like to offer beer and mararitas for my guests during the recpetion lunch but was playing with a third option.  Sangria would be perfect.

Niccon: I LOVE LOVE those shoes!  I'm wearing a very simple, strapless white dress for the ceremony then changing for later that night (I am still searching for the perfect dress!).  Silver would match anything.  Thanks for the link :)

Here are pictures of my dress and the invite I went with.  That's a model in the dress... not me :)  It was actually a bridesmaid dress but I ordered it in white.  He actually picked it out.  I took him to get an idea of what he would like and when he saw it on a rack (in brown) he wanted me to try it.

We had our reception at Ricardo's of Las Vegas. The food was good and our guests had beer and margaritas, well so did we.
