"gone fishing" cake toppers

Not sure how many of you read the "Gone Fishing" blurb on my wedsite but for those of you who did, you'll get a kick out of this! So just to clarify, the reason I used the metaphor of "fishing" was because FI and I met online on a dating site called "plentyoffish.com".

Anyhoo, a friend of mine found these cake toppers and I had to laugh!! They would be hilarious!!

Although we met by being in business together, POF played a role in our relationship starting too!!! Hahaha I always arrived at meetings with one of my business partners. FI thought he and I were engaged until he saw a profile on POF that a friend of mine had created trying to convince me to give dating another try (I had sworn off it lol)

I'm not sure how to make it work. We are having such a "classic" and elegant style wedding but we are very humorous and silly so they are perfect for us. We are also not doing a traditional cake (either a cake pop/ball cake or cupcakes). I suppose we could arrange them elsewhere than on the cake...

I was curious about your fishing analogy.  I didn't have any luck on POF.  I met my FI on match. LOL.  I love both of these too.  We almost got one of these, bc my FI is big into fishing.  But we decided to go with a custom topper from etsy.

I just showed FI the last one and he loves it. He loves fishing.
