Men's Warehouse ?

FI and I decided we needed to get some air today and ventured to Men's Warehouse.  I asked them if they had charcoal tuxes.  The man in the store told me they only had the new Vera Wang, but it would only be out in July.

I was on the website and noticed that Calvin Klein, also had one.

Have any of your FI's chosen one of these and would you mind giving the price?  We were told the Vera Wang, is $210 to rent.  I'm wondering what the difference in price is for the CK tux.

So we experienced this last weekend and got the same answer.  I saw the Calvin Klein tux but I don't like that shade.  The new Vera Wang also comes in the exact material and style we wanted. It's a tight squeze but what we want.

FI rented his CK tux (the exact same one) for $120 (after discount for ordering before March 31). The vest and shoes are another $20 each. So it's about $160 for the entire ensemble. 

We don't have a Men's Wearhouse, but we got it through Tip Top Tailors and I know that our Moores stores carry them too.

FI's guys are wearing the black version CK tux from Men's Wearhouse.  They are paying either $175 or $185, I forget which.  I think the CK tux looks sharp in person, if I do say so myself.

I can only see Scogs reply (stupid TK), but our boys are getting the new Vera Wang suits (from MW). Very snazzy!

I really prefer the Vera Wang tuxes, but they were not in the budget for our bridal party and we were worried about them being slim cut.  FI has lost almost 20 lbs, but he is still a bigger guy at this point and we wanted to make sure he looks good on the big day, even if he doesn't lose another pound.

The slim cut is what worries me.  I've never met 3 of the groomsmen.  They are all over the country.  I don't want to have them get here and look like stuffed sacks.  From the pictures I've seen one of them is pretty "thick"

We booked the Vera tuxes in black.  According to the manager at MW we went to, they come in both slim cut and regular cut.  They'll order the appropriate cut for each guy.  I'm not sure if it works that way for the charcoal ones, but that may be worth asking.  Part of what sold me on the Vera tux is that FI looks so much better in the slim cut.  Also, maybe sign up for email coupons from them or something.  I got $40 off my tuxes (they came out to about $180), a free tux rental for FI, and a free suit. (cause we have 10 guys renting tuxes.  5 for the rental, 5 for the suit)  I've gotten a lot of coupons in email and in the mail from MW.
