Me and my
fiancé are split on a pretty important decision regarding guests. I am absolutley against having young children at our wedding. All of my cousins have at least one child under 4 and my fiancés brother and his wife have 2 children under 3, and one on the way that will be born a month before our wedding. To me, this screams havoc because I know that only about 3 of these kids are well-behaved.... Not to mention we have a VERY tight budget. My fiancé doesn't necessarily want a lot of children there, but he is very set on having his 3 year old nephew there. He says that he wants him to be a part of the experience.
I've tried to explain that if we let his nephew come, others will be offended if we don't let them bring there kids, plus, to be honest, his nephew won't even remember 10 years from now.
Any suggestions? I don't want to hurt my fiancés feelings. But since people tend not to take well to the whole "no children" policy anyway, we need to be united on the decision.
