I've made a huge mistake

FI and I are getting married on my parents' wedding anniversary. Which also happens to my my mom's birthday.

Yesterday, when listening to my parents argue (via phone conversation and text message) about how many outfits my mom has bought for the wedding and how much money she has spent on said outfits (and the fact she wants to pick up one more), our wedding was referred to as "their anniversary party".
