"I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels." -Isaiah 61:10 NKJV

Re: Weekly Recaps!

  • 1. Check List: FI and I got quite a few things checked off the never ending to-do list. Sabre arch people lined up, bag piper booked, got tickets to the Reds game....getting even more excited!

    2. Hunger Games: I am on book #2 of the series and loving it. I don't know why I waited so long to read them. I highly recommend them.

    3. Wedding chaos: my apartmet is slowly being taken over by things for the wedding. Boxes and boxes of stuff!

    4. healty me: I have been eating better and working out more lately and I am feeling so good. Its amazing how good the body feels when you treat it right!

    5. Peace: I am coming to peace after the news of my junior bridesmaid being pulled from the wedding. It upsets me but at the end of day, I still get to marry the love of my life and will still have a great wedding day.

  • 1. Learning and adjusting at my new job between 2 different shifts and two different groups of women. Can be very stressful !

    2. FI got a bunch of his addresses for people together for me awhile I was very happy about that and it was helpful . I myself am still having guest list freak out etc. Also waiting on my father to give the OK for a venue and waiting to hear back from a place.

3.Had a day off with FI on Thursday it was nice for a midweek day off . We are 40 min apart and do not often see each other during the week and sometimes not much on a weekend if I work .

    4. Had a omgosh moment wacthing Glee on Tuesday night couldnt believe we have to wait until April to see the next part !! Ahh !

    5. Slowly lining up appointments and getting things set with photograhers and flower people. It's getting more real with everything I do ! ...

  • Took a Midterm! Thankfully it went well! I have one left this week and then I'm done with midterms forever! Woohoo!

Ran a 5k at Disney World! We had a blast and I improved my time! :)

Finished 2 great books! Hey, it's the little things, right?

My Dad's office was broken into. He is just devestated. Thankfully they took NOTHING but now repairing the glass door they broke is pricey.

Had a hair trial and it came out perfectly!

  • 1. I got to go to lunch with my best friend Tabby. I haven't seen her in over a month, so that was great.

    2. I had a phone date with my friend Jennifer. That's always fun.

    3. I tried on a wedding dress for the first time! When I was with Tabby we went to a thrift store and they had a dress in my size and we were silly and I tried it on. I didn't actually like it, it was from like the 80s and had ridiculous sleeves, but it was the first one I've tried on. I've wanted to go dress shopping, but I want my mom to come with me. I'm getting impatient though so I'm considering making an appointment and hoping she'll come with me.

4.I climbed a tree. I haven't done that in years. It was such fun I've done it a couple times since. I took my Bible with me. It was fantastic.

    5. I finished the baby blanket I was crocheting.

That's fun ! My friend wanted me to try one on at the salvation army for some fun but they were all too big for me to even try on for a good laugh but we were darn close to doing so !

I wish I had the time to crochet latly I miss it ...

  • 1.  As I said in the weekend plans thread, I went to the shooting range on Saturday.  I had a great time.

    2.  After the shooting range, we went out for Mexican food (again).  I renewed my love for cilantro.  This is the best Mexican place we've been to here.  The next time my parents visit, we're going to go there!

    3.  My partner and I got our paper back.  We did really well - better than expected.  (I don't feel like I'm a very good writer.)

    4.  I'm getting used to feeling calm and relaxed.  I'd been living with my anxiety for so long that I forgotten what it felt like to feel peaceful.  I'd first noticed in September that I was more relaxed, but now I feel calm most of the time.  It was weird at first.

    5.  I've been playing Monopoly on the iPad.

  • My great-uncle was killed in a motorcycle accident on Thursday.  He was a wonderful man, very quirky but did what he loved with all his heart.  I only saw him once a year or so, but always enjoyed that time.

I put in an application for a faculty position at my alma mater this morning.  Prayers would be appreciated!

I had a very relaxing weekend with FI.  Saturday we chilled all day and watched way more tv than we should, and then hung out with friends in the evening.   Today I woke up with a renewed sense of purpose for my work, and I think the ultra-relaxation had a lot to do with that.

FI's car was making a funny noise yesterday afternoon, so he drove home early (he lives over an hour away) to make sure it was daylight the whole drive.  This morning he found out a tie rod on his car is broken, we are very thankful for safety on the road yesterday!

We decided instead of people throwing rice or blowing bubbles, we will have them ring bells as we come out of the church Smile

    2. Hope Chest. My mother, older sister, and Mamaw have stocked my hope chest to the point of it being full. :)
    3. Colors. FI agreed to the shade of pink I wanted in our theme colors (pink, yellow, and orange).
    4. Book Shelf. After buying more books this weekend, I had to buy a taller shelf. Which means one more peice of furniture for FI and I once we buy a house.

  • Yoda: I'm so sorry to hear about your great-uncle. One of my best friends was killed last year in a motorcycling accident. It was so devestating-- I feel your pain. Praying!
