Wegman's Floral

Has anyone used Wegman's Floral department for their wedding? I know someone who used Whole Foods in Philly (wedding was in the Philly area) and they were awesome and inexpensive - which is what I am looking for!Thanks!

    I had a consultation with Wegman's florist when we were planning our wedding.  The flowers they have out on display are always beautiful, but he didn't have any books/pictures or examples of his wedding work so it was really hard for me to describe what I wanted without the visual.  It also took him a couple of weeks to get back to me with an estimate, and it was a lot higher than we were expecting.We ended up using Old Towne Florist in New Cumberland as our florsit and we couldn't have been happier.  The flowers were beautiful for a great price, and she completely understood what I wanted.

    I recently met with Wegman's floral designer and had a wonderful time.  Although they don't have pictures and books for you to look at, they are very knowledgeable about different types of flowers as well as what is expensive and less expensive.  I also made sure to take pictures with me so I could show them the different elements that I liked.  I do have to disagree about the amount of time it takes to get a quote.  I received my quote 4 hours after our consultation ended.
