White Tux with Bride's Ivory Dress??

I am in a dilemma. I am getting married in 2 1/2 months.  My wedding dress is gorgeous and I love it, but the color is considered "blush".  It really is like a very faint ivory.  It looks white until it is right next to something white, then you can notice the hint of cream color.  My fiance and I both had our hearts set on white tuxedos and shirts, with the groom wearing navy blue vest and tie and the groomsmen wearing pink vests and ties.  My question is....will the white tuxes clash with my dress?

    I feel like most the guests at your event would not notice and would think the combo looks amazing. However, as a photographer...I caution you against this. If you are planning on taking any outdoor photos, the difference will show greatly...as white is more likely to look very bright in photos, especially under the sun or even with a flash indoors. Your gown, from what I gather is more likely to "glow" in photos...or look softer and more golden than the bright white of the tuxes.

    I disagree. What if the ivory shirt is darker than your dress? It will look awful. Please see my signature picture, groom is wearing white and I am not.

    We were thinking of doing the same thing.. ivory(off white) dress with white tuxes. We opted not too though, the white tuxes make the dress look "dirty' perse.

    My dress is ivory, the groomsmen got white tuxes.  I'm sure that if it clashes too badly, the photographer will make sure I'm not directly next to any of them.

    Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

    My dress is an off white (and barely and off white) and I was told by my bridal consultant to absolutely not get white shoes as it will clash with the dress and make it look "dirty".  I know she isn't meaning to be rude but just doesn't want any clashing, especially with the photography.  I'm only concerned for you, because if my shoes have to match, I would think your tuxes have to match.  White is so tricky.

    Can you go to the bridal store and try on your dress, and then get them to put a white tux beside you to see what it looks like? Then get someone to take a picture.  Just prep before you decide.  I'd hate to see you disappointed.  Maybe make the boutonieres a blush coloured flower and then something will match.

    Thank you all for your help.  I think we have decided to just go with black tuxes, and ivory undershirts.  I have looked at the ivory undershirts at our local tux rental store, and they are not too dark.  Now I am just hoping it all comes together nicely.
