Prime Rib as a dinner option - odd question?

If I offered guests the option between chicken and prime rib, does this sound ok?  I don't know if prime rib is a bad option.  I just dont want to spend the extra money for the filet, so the prime rib was the most cost effective beef option.  Has anyone offered this at their wedding?  How did it go over?

    I think it sounds great... If I was ever offered prime rib at a wedding I would be thrilled!

    Prime Rib is awesome!!!!!!! It's a very expensive upgrade on our package!

    One of the venues has kebalsa and kraut as a choice - and Dan wants it!  Me, I think we need to have a third option.....

    OMG........kielbasa and kapusta! I'm Polish, and this was what my parents had at their wedding almost 61 years ago. I had their 50th anniversary catered and made SURE we had this on the buffet, LOL.

    I agree....if you have that, you may need a 3rd option for your guests, LOL. Or else, pretty much everyone will be picking the other option, LOL

      We offered prime rib, chicken and vegetarian choices. We have 114 people coming and 65 of them chose prime rib. I would say people would be more than happy to have the prime rib based on my numbers. :-)

    I'm Polish too - that's exactly what my grandparents had for their wedding in 1946!
