  I also bought my dress at Amanda's and had it altered there.  I had no problems- the seamstress did a great job.  But, I didn't have many alterations... I think if I had needed something complex done, I would have gone to a specialist.

  I went to The Wedding Seamstress in Arvada.  (I bought my dress at David's Bridal at Park Meadows and they treated me like such crap I vowed to never give them another dime.)  So I researched and found great reviews for the WEdding Seamstress and she was great!  It's just a little shop, but she was SUPER reasonable.  She added cap sleeves and a bustle.  I recommend her to everyone.

  Yea, I ordered my dress through David;s Bridal at park meadows, and I am not really planning on having many alterations based on design, just a hem and hopefully it will need to get taken in if my weight loss goes to plan.  My service a DB has been great so far, but I am worried, I have heard such horror stories that I am inclined to take my dress elsewhere......Who else do you guys recommend?

  I got my dress at David's in Westminster.  To my surprise the customer service was wonderful, my consultant was Amanda and I would highly recommend her if your still dress shopping.  As far as alterations, I have heard David's can charge more than what you piad for for the dress (especially if you got a bargain).  I am going through Alterations by Mina.  Mina worked for David's Bridal and now has her own alterations business that she runs form ehr home.  Her service is spectacular and her prices are fabulous!  My final dress fitting in 6/22, I can't wait to see how everything turns out!  Alterations by Mina - 303-358-3787
