My hubby and I just got back from our honeymoon yesterday and we couldn't have asked for a more amazing experience these past 2 weeks. Our wedding was everything we planned and more; could not be happier. Here's a review of our vendors:
Venue - Villa Barone Hilltop Manor, Mahopac - A++ - They treated us like royalty from day 1 and the process was as smooth as silk. Very professional, accomodating and make sure that your vision comes to life on your day. Our Maitre D' Dominick and our attendant Alexa were hands down the best we could have asked for. No detail was left out and our every wish was taken care of. Definitely highly recommend. Our ceremony was in their outside area with the new waterfall feature and it was incredibly picturesque....Loved everything about Villa Barone!
DJ & Lighting - RTH Event Group - A++ - Loved the energy of Kevin Mercado and how he brought the crowd to life. The music was what we asked for and the lighting gave the room that special look and feel of romance we wanted. Everyone had a great time and the fact that he was bilingual and knew our culture so well, kept the party going for everyone.
Makeup - JKFlashy Makeup Service - A++ - Jill Imbrogno was amazing, just as I expected. She worked her magic on a nervous bride and bridesmaids and everyone looked amazing. We did pictures first and Jill came back to do touch ups before the ceremony. My makeup looked fresh and flawless even at the end of the night. I never had to worry about reapplying except for lips. Perfect, fully prepared and will adapt to last minute changes on color application. Loved it!
Hair - Westchester Hair-Stylist, Melissa Scrofani - A++ - Melissa was so calm she kept me calm. Loved my hair and my biggest worry was the humidity and my hair becoming frizzy and a disaster for pictures. She had it all under control and kept telling me not to worry that she had the frizz control spray. Well she did...all day and night that hair stayed exactly as she put it for me and my girls. There was no fear of my flower hair piece from falling, everything was secure and we danced the night away with not worries. Loved her!
Florist - Monica Chimes - A+++ - Ok, Monica was amazing with her creations. Our bouquets were stunning and my centerpieces where the show piece I was looking for. She worked with my vision and had no problem destroying flowers to create samples on the fly for me. I think we changed ideas about 3 times and even on the day of the wedding she called me because she wanted to add something special to the bouquets and wanted to know if I was ok with it. YES, of course I was; trust her 100%.
Photographer/Videographer - ThePros - A+ - Haven't seen my pictures or video yet, but we were happy with the professionalism of both. They were on time, were right there for all of the important moments and we can't wait to see the final outcome. I must say that my rep from ThePros, Leighann Muzi, was on top of everything for me. She even helped me book the videographer 3 days before the wedding. I owe her BIG TIME! Also, Dennis, our videographer stayed over an hour after his time to make sure he got all of the shots he wanted for our video.
Limo - GK Limo - A++ George Karam was a true hero for me because I booked him at the last minute and he made himself available and was perfect for us. The limo was beautiful, clean and fully stocked for us. He knew where he was going, which is a plus in my book, and made sure no one opened my door until I was ready to get out of the car.
All in all we have no complaints and wish everyone as smooth of a process we had because of the professionals who shared in our day.
