Engagement Party Venues?

I'm brainstorming a location for our engagement party this summer... I would like it to be at a bar/restaurant in the north Puget Sound area (Mill Creek, Bothell, Marysville, etc) or the Eastside. Preferrably somewhere that let's us reserve an area at no charge.

    I'm not sure about specific locations, but I do know that most places (if they have the space) will let you use it without a fee for the space, but with a food/beverage minimum.  I would google "Mill Creek restaurant + private party" or something similar to try to find places that have the space you need.
    Are you hosting this party for yourself, or for someone else?  Just FYI, etiquette-wise it's a no-no to host one for yourself, but somebody else could host it for you!  Good luck!

    Oooooh, Preservation Kitchen is REALLY good. And it's in an old house in Bothell. For another place in Bothell with a different vibe, I love Main Street Alehouse.

    In terms of Mill Creek, I'm not sure which places have private rooms, but we like Azul, La Palmera and Clay Pit.

    We had a little engagement party at my mom's house. Actually, all of the engagement parties I've been to have been thrown by the parents at their house. So if that's an option for you, I'd consider it.

    Preservation Kitchen is pretty awesome...To the point where we are going to get married there and have a reception. Totally cannot wait!

    Thanks ladies! I will check out Preservation Kitchen definitely. I don't think Azuls has a private area, I love it there too :)
