Very Intimate Wedding

Hi brides!
My fiance and I have been planning our wedding for April of 2012 here in Phoenix, however, Friday morning we found out we are pregnant which is a miracle considering the doctors said it was very unlikely I would be able to have children! We really want our family to be complete by the time the baby gets here so our new plan is to have a Vegas wedding in November! It will just be our immediate family (about 10) and our budget is around $250 for the ceremony. Does anyone have any suggestions?

We had thought of eloping to Phoenix from Tucson, actually, since my grandparents are up there.  There are a few places up there that would accommodate an intimate ceremony if you want to go that route.  Plus, it may be less expensive to feed your guests following the ceremony.

In Las Vegas, Chapel of the Flowers has reasonable packages, as does Vegas Wedding Chapel (702wedding.com).  You can get a package deal with these places.  Mon Bel Ami is a third one, now that I think of it.  These are three of the chapels we looked into before going with a ceremony at Planet Hollywood.

Good luck and congratulations on the new addition to your family!

    Congratulations!!!

When my FI and I got pregnant, we briefly considered eloping to LV, but that idea was quickly squashed when I realized I wanted (needed) to have a few glasses of champagne before I take the plunge.

Anyway, The Flamingo has a gorgeous outdoor chapel that is right on budget for you.

You should def join your month board on TheBump if you haven't already... that was a godsend when I was KU.

    Good luck with everything!

The Golden Nugget has ceremony packages starting at $295 but honestly with a budget that small you night want to stay local. Do you have travel, hotel, reception and miscellaneous budgets in place? Also if you advise why you want to do Vegas (what it means up you), people can more easily assist you with finding a location.

I don't get married often, but when I do, I do it in Las Vegas.

Congrats!!!!! How about getting a Officant to marry you in-suite. That's what we are doing, with the strip lights in the background.

While I love the Flamingo and their garden chapel, they are out of budget. The cheapest weekday package is around $400 not including the additional $250 they charge for use of the garden gazebo.

For $250 you should mostly look at non-strip options. Strip chapels are pricey. Or, as smokey said, staying local might be a good option. Vegas can be expensive.
