  The greenhouse near the rose gardens, if there isn't a wedding or reception in there. Maybe some churches. The greenhouses behind Entamology are cool if they are open. The Pavillion, if you're looking for a country option.

  there are some good places inside the kellogg center (pretty staircase and lots of large windows) and inside the kresge art museum
