Hey Ladies,

I was wondering if you can give me some reccommendations for both the photographers and videographers. who did you use?

    Recap:

    Photography - I used Jill Promoli. Loved her. She was awesome to work with, so fun and enthusiastic. The only thing is that she works alone, and some people prefer getting more coverage from a team of two (or more) photographers.

    Videography - I went with Stillmotion. Their work is fantastic, but their company has changed since I used them. PM me, I'll give you more info.

    We are using Blue Six Creative from Toronto.  www.bluesixcreative.com We had meetings with four photographers and went with them since they were the most flexible and built a package that gave us a disk of all the images for us to print ourselves.

    Good luck!  So many great photographers around Toronto!

    Hey Cayla,

    I just got engaged in August but I've heard that photographers are the first hings you need to book, so last night I talked to 3 different companies, but I think I've settled on one called Bongopix. The photographer was so nice over the phone, really compotent, and knew what he was talking about. He was also really flexible when I gave him some ideas that I wanted to work with. He's also going to shoot our engagement party, which is cool. to top it off, he's a really affordable (but extremely classy and innovative) photographer. give him a try. pm me and I can give you more details!

    We didn't have a videographer, but our photographer was amazing!  She actually just sent me a little video montage today of some pictures from the wedding - they are small (if you blow it up the quality isn't as good), but you can get a sense from her blog if you like the style.  The link is:

    Our photographer and videograhper have been amazing, we've used them for two different weddings and my upcoming wedding.

    The photographer works with your budget, goes through any images you want done before the wedding and he makes sure he has them, videographer starts at the same time as the photographer and goes home at 1 am.

    KCS photography is the company.

    We just got married on Saturday and used Ambient Studios http://www.ambientstudios.ca .  Larissa and Trevor are super friendly and both awesome photographers so you get two great angles.
