MHC Reception

I'm wondering if anyone has had a reception at the Minnesota History Center in St. Paul, MN. I'm wondering how it worked moving for place to place for different parts of the reception. I love the space but I'm a little concerned about moving my whole party to different areas throughout the night. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks!

    I was at a reception there a few years ago.   It wasn't really problematic to have ppl move.  We started upstairs for the cocktail hour, moved down the stairs for the dinner, then back up for the dance.  The one thing that I didn't like, although it didn't actually affect me, was that some of the tables seemed like they were 'down the hall' from the head table.  And you couldn't really see the head table from a lot of the tables.  However, the dance part was pretty cool as it was in front of the window that looks out over the capitol bldg.
