OOT guest gifts

So, in my head everyone who was from out of town would stay at the hotel that I booked the block for and I would have the OOT guest bags at the front desk for when they check in. HOWEVER, it is not working it out as perfectly as I had in my head. Some people are staying there, some are staying with family, and some are staying at other hotels. My question is; how should I distribute the OOT guest bags? I was thinking at the rehearsal dinner. What do you think?

    I think passing them out at RD would be fine (I saw on another post that you're inviting all your OOT family to it).  You'll just have to prepare yourself if some of your intown people want one - or people who are a short drive away and will be going back and forth.

    I am only providing them for people who booked hotels through our block.

    If you really want to give them out to other OOT guests, I would assume RD would be a good place but it may look strange to the others who aren't receiving them?

    I think it depends when ppl are coming into town. For us, a lot of guests arrive Thursday (RD is Friday) and we want them to have the bags to use Friday to help them find things to do in Bmore during the day.

    We are only giving OOT bags to guests staying at our room block at our hotel as well. Too complicated otherwise to track down who is staying where and how to get the bags to them.

    I think it gets way too confusing to start handing out OOT bags randomly.  Like others have said, it might be strange to the in-town guests who see OOT guests getting an extra gift. We are only providing the gift boxes to guests who are staying at our 4 hotel blocks.
