I always found these reviews helpful so I wanted to share our vendor reviews too!
Highlands Country Club- A+
http://www.highlandscountryclub.net/
We had our reception here and it was awesome! The event manager Adrienne was so helpful and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. She was the total opposite of every other person we met with at other venues. I'm actually surprised they were as accommodating as they were. Pretty much anything we wanted or didn't want was fine. They were so on top of everything that I didn't even feel like I needed a wedding planner. The space was beautiful and the food was good. Not wedding good, but actually good. Our guests keep telling us that it was the best filet mignon they've ever had and we had a lot of foodies there! Everything as far as the Highlands is concerned was truly an A+.
Dave Elgart Music- A+

I had high hopes for these guys and they surpassed my expectations. We had a trio of piano, flute, and cello for the ceremony then they switched their instruments and joined up with their drummer for cocktail hour and reception. Not only did we have a jazz quartet of keyboard, upright electric bass, drums, and sax, but they also come with a DJ. They're the only ones out there that do this (as far as my research was able to find). They come as a band combined with DJ and interchange between the two all night. It's perfectly seamless in transition. You couldn't tell they were switching, it was just great music all night. They were especially amazing at the ceremony. It ended up starting an hour late (reason to be discussed later) and they played the entire time the guests were waiting. It was like a concert! Our guests actually thought we had planned this full concert before the start of the wedding. They didn't even charge us more for the extra time they were there. I priced out several bands and DJ's and they were significantly cheaper than every band out there and only slight more than a DJ, but that included the extra we payed for them to do our ceremony.
Flowers by David Anthony- B+
David is really nice and easy to work with. He comes up with good ideas and he seems to have a versatile design style. I only give him a B+ for a couple of reasons. One is that my bouquet was tiny and expensive, but he never mentioned that it would be so small. As a matter of fact, when we discussed my bouquet size I told him that I wanted a large one. I don't want to knock him too much because overall I was very happy. I think he's more expensive than others around, but he's worth checking out.
Reginella Bridal- A+
Reginella Bridal is wonderful. Rita, the owner and her staff are so friendly and easy to work with. They genuinely want the bride to be happy and will do whatever they can to ensure this. They have a beautiful selection of dresses in a range of price points.
