First Fitting

I just had my first fitting at Dressmaking by Dolly and she is just wonderful! She is so sweet and so knowledgeable! I felt so comfortable and she assured me that my dress was in good hands...and I believe it! And her price was so affordable!

How far in advance does Dolly have you do your first fitting? Does anyone mind letting me know what her prices run?

I had my first fitting for my June 4th wedding end of March. I had 3 fittings and picked it up the day before the wedding.

My alterations ran $200, I had it taken in quite a bit through the back and sides, she put in cups and did a bustle. You can see the before pictures in my planning bio. I did not need mine hemmed.

PS she also lends out petty coats so that you do not need to buy one. That is included in the price

My wedding is August 13 and I just went on Monday, June 13 for my first fitting. She is putting cups in, adding an eyelet clip to the panel on my corset, a bussle, and she is pressing and steaming everything. It is running me $150.
