Iberostar Resorts??

Hello ladies,

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day! Congrats on all your upcoming wedding/newlywed lives! 

I have a question...hass anyone been to any of the Iberostar Resorts? Did you like them? I loved the pictures of the one in Mexico but of course need reviews or other wonderful suggestions. We would be going May 2014 for 5 days.. Any help would be much appreciated! :)

    I recently stayed at the Iberostar Grand in Montego Bay and was very happy with the food, service, beach, pool, spa, etc.  I used tripadvisor's reviews when deciding where to stay.  In Montego Bay, there was a difference between the three Iberostar resorts and the Grand had the best amenities.

    PP is correct- the Iberostar Grand line in Jamaica, DR, and Mexico is their top of line. It's adults only, the most luxurious and also the most expensive. The other Iberostars are nice, but tend to be more family oriented (allow kids). I have been to the Grand in the Riviera Maya and it was definitely luxurious, but it was also a very large property and reminded me of a Vegas casino in terms of decor. It was definitely not crowded or loud, but just very ornate.

    BTW- you probably won't be able to book anything for May 2014 until June 2013 because the air won't be available until then. So, you can definitely consider which island you want to go to and maybe which resort, but you still have PLENTY of time to figure things out.

    I have stayed the Grand in DR and Grand in Jamaica (TWICE) and they were amazing....I am actually booking the Grand in Mexico for my 2 years in jUNE..U will not be disappointed.

    We honeymooned at Iberostar Grand Bavaro in Punta Cana in May 2012.  It was awesome.  PM me for a detailed review.

    I agree with the other ladies; Iberostar resorts have different hotels on them at different price points; only the "Grand" hotels are adult-only and are typically the highest quality compared to the other Iberostar hotels; I would only recommend staying at a Grand
