Re: Confessions Wednesday

I confess that I can't wait for all this added wedding drama with FBIL and FSIL to be over. Who would have thought two 40-year-old adults could be so mean-spirited toward a couple of 20-somethings? Trying not to let the added stress get to you is easier said than doneUndecided

I confess that I have been way too stressed about money lately. My hours at my regular job are cut even shorter lately, I haven't started the new job yet because the state of new hampshire took forever to get my background check back to them (it finally came back, they set up a special orientation for me and a couple other new LNAs in the same boat for tuesday!), and things are just tight all around. At this point we haven't been able to save because there just has not been as much coming in. I was beginning to worry that we might not be able to do it and would have to postpone it if we really want the wedding we are planning. We went over the budget again last night and I feel much more comfortable now. We have already put in more than I remembered and with my over estimating what I had already budgeted I had a much larger number in my head (I try not to look too often at the actual paperwork).
I also confess this post was longer than necessary!!

I confess that I'm absolutely freaking out about not having the reception site booked. My FI arrives in America on Sunday, and I'm seriously hoping he's up for checking out the site on Monday. Too much for a jet-lagged foreigner? I confess that I am TERRIFIED for his family to arrive. I have no clue what to do with them. They're city people, and don't speak English. I'm from super-rural NH.

I confess that I will be so happy when the move out of my apartment is done! Moving is such a pain!

I confess that I slept with a baseball bat last night.  FI was out of state last night.  About an hour after I got home I had the police at my house pounding on my door.  They were looking for some guy who gave our address.  They told me to leave lights on and if someone shows up don't answer the door and call the cops immediately.

Now isn't that comforting when you're sleeping on the first floor by yourself?
