Follow-up question about response card..

I have another question about my response cards but I decided to put it in a separate post. I have 3 meal options (chicken, beef, fish) and my venue also offers a vegetarian option. SHould I include "vegetarian option" on the response card?

Honestly, I don't even know of ONE vegetarian who is coming to the wedding (at least on my family's side). But I figure there might be a few vegetarians out there....should I include it as a meal choice to be safe?

    We didn't.  When my sister got married last year, she only had 2 or 3 vegetarians and they just wrote it on the response card.  I think it's a given that there's always a veg option.

    I'm including it on mine. I only know of one vegetarian, but I've been to a wedding where I didn't care for the other options and ended up ordering the veg option instead. I think it should be available to every one.

    I included the vegetarian option on my response card. I know I will have at least a few in attendance!

    I think I'm going to do it. I have seen some invitations that say "vegetarian meal" but I actually know what the meal will be, so I think I'm going to put it on the response card as "roasted vegetable turnover." Maybe some non-vegetarians would like it... I know I would! I would imagine that it couldn't hurt to have 4 meal options at my wedding..people would probably be glad they had more to choose from. I've been to weddings where there were only 2 options and it was kind of tough.

    I am going to, but we will say what the vegetarian meal is. I am a pretty picky eater and especially strange about meat and I eat no fish so sometimes I order the vegetarian meal because it is the choice I like the best. I think if it is an option you should include it, what's the harm?

    I will know what the choice is, so I figure I will list is.  As you said, someone who isn't vegetarian might like it as well!

    I did.  And I think non-vegetarians will also like mine.  We chose vegetable lasagna.

    Ditto previous posts- we had an eggplant tartine dish (which was delicous at the tasting) and I included it on the response card so that anyone could choose it.

    Agree with pp- I attended a wedding over the summer where there were only two choices, steak or fish. I am a picky eater and don't eat either of them..and was so tempted to check off the kids meal of chicken tenders :)

    Agree with everyone, we put vegetarian on there so no one had to write it in.
