Custom Veil??

I feel in love with a gorgeous chapel length veil with rhinestone edging at Alfred Angelo....downside is that the pricetag read $400

So i'm curious if there are any other brides out there thinking of making their own veil or planning on getting a semstress to make one for them

Re: Custom Veil??

  • wow, I bet it is beautiful!!  I am not confident enough to make my own but I am looking into borrowing one from a friend as my "something borrowed" for the wedding day.  Have you shopped around to see if what you like is made by another designer that is less expensive?  Maybe Google the style number and see if you can find it cheaper elsewhere? HTH!  good luck!!

</div><div>Found the perfect pattern by Butterick at Jo-Anns fabric and got 4 yards of 45" width of wedding tulle (for a cathedral length and a blusher), to make my own veil. Its actually pretty simple and there are tons of DIY online. The best part: It only cost $6 wiith the 50% off coupon. Excited would be an understatement of how great it felt to spend that six dollars lol</div>
