Orange Tree Golf Resort?

Have any of you stayed there?  We are looking at staying there the night of the wedding.

Where are you all sleeping the night of?

Re: Orange Tree Golf Resort?

  • I don't have any experience with Orange Tree...    but for our wedding night, we stayed at Hotel Legado at San Tan Village...  and it was totally NOT worth the price at all. We had a few major issues there, and there was never even an offer of an apology or any sort of fix for it at all.   It was a very upsetting experience.

  • Yikes.  That's good to know, thanks.
  • The units have been remodeled and updated over the past couple of years.  Nice location and rooms, however, it is not like a resort, but has beautiful views.  The pool is very plain and simple, so depends on what you are looking for and expecting.

A friend of mine got married there about 4 years ago and we stayed the night there. The rooms were very average. Nothing super special, but totally decent. One of the PPs said it's been updated though, so perhaps they're better than I remember.

We're staying at the Ritz at 24th street and Camelback for our wedding night (Friday) and the following night. We're going on our HM a week later, so we wanted to do a little mini staycation rather than go back to our home that weekend.
