Welcome bags

Are you distributing them at a meet and greet or will the hotel bell desk allow all of them to be left with them?

Re: Welcome bags

  • You probably know this, but some hotels will charge to have bags left at their front desk.  Moreover, I've heard of issues from brides here in the last year where bags were lost, forgotten, distributed at check out, etc.

It might be your best bet to get them at your M&G.  Good luck!

I wanted to do these, but knew it would be a pain in the bum in reality. Plus, it means people would have to carry them round with them for the rest of the evening, and they would be misplaced and generally a nightmare. Not to mention having to get them all to Vegas and be organised enough to have them in the right place at the right time to hand out!

I compromised and sent out a little package to each of our guests (we had 30 in total, and lots of those were couples, so we ended up sending about 20 in altogether) a month before, to up their anticipation levels!

I included a full itinerary, map, Vegas tips and a personalised luggage tag. They went down extremely well, and felt like much less hassle than handing out Welcome Bags in Vegas. Plus, it was a fun thing to do before the wedding, when you are at your planning and excitement peak!

  • Gribbles, I love that idea!!!! NYcheryl, that's so weird that they want to be so in-accommodating to wedding parties. They never have a problem when I'm dropping off merchandise for their guests otherwise. Maybe they just don't want bulk drop offs
