Salt Creek Grill

Has anyone here ever been to a wedding there?  Either the Rumson or Princeton location.    Ive read good reviews of weddings in the CA locations, but nothing about NJ.   I cant even find pictures.   I wonder if its worth my time to even drive down to look.

I have never been to a wedding there but I have been there for dinner (the Princeton location) and I was disappointed.  I don't know if it was what we ordered or something else but FI and I both got sick from the food.

Ive been there for dinner it was actually where we had our parents meet for the first time. The food was good, I just dont know where you would fit a wedding-this was the princeton location

I have been to dinner at the Rumson location. The food was okay but nothing that would support what they charge. Also, I can't imagine how a wedding would be set up. It is a very open space that is separated by low walls and columns. I don't know if they have a completely separate room or not. But just somethings to think about.

The Rumson location would mean great pictures (right on the river).  I have been there for dinner, not a reception, but the food was only ok.

i attended a wedding in the rumson location a few years ago and it was in a downstairs room, the ceremony was outside on the grassy area near the water which was pretty!
it was a brunch and i only had the breakfast foods which were good, so i'm not sure if that'll help you out

I have been to the Rumson location for dinner and was not thrilled with the food.  The menu looks amazing, but the taste of the food does not match.   I have also been in the downstairs room for a mothers day brunch and thought it was cramped and the food was actually terrible.  Sorry : (

I've been to the Rumson location twice for bridal showers and got sick both times. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

We've been to the Rumson location for both brunch and dinner. The food is pretty good, and the view of the river is amazing. We met with them about possibly having our wedding there, but decided against it.

The room downstairs (which is where they do larger parties/weddings) isn't all that nice...the bar area is pretty run-down looking AND you have to share the ONE AND ONLY set of bathrooms with the entire restaurant upstairs.

As if that weren't enough, the woman we met with liked to say, "we can't do it that way."  NEXT!

    Dinner or brunch? Yes.
    Wedding...I wouldn't recommend it.
