  I am not changing my last name.  In social settings, I will be Mrs. H's Last name and the like, but for all other intents and purposes, I am Mrs. Bbyckes.

  I'm changing my name for a few reasons. One - I don't mind what my last name is, "a rose by any other name" and all that, and it would really please my FI so why not? Two - I'll be going from a boring last name to a fun and unique one (which is a plus, I guess).

  I will  change my last name, just not right after the wedding because the honeymoon is a week later and my passport will still have my maiden name on it, so after the honeymoon, I will work on changing it

  I will be changing my name... dropping my middle name, so I will be Megan OldLastName NewLastName.
  
  My FI actually offered to take MY last name LOL which I thought was sweet But my brother just married a Megan in January, so it would be too confusing to have 2 Megans with the same last names in one family!! Until October, I am Megan Original, and SIL is Megan Extra Crispy (as in KFC lol) to keep us straight

  I was originally against the idea of changing my last name. There are not many of "us" left in the game, so I thought it would be awesome. But, after much consideration, I welcome the new last name. It's different, but not.

  I will be changing my last name after the honeymoon. I will drop my middle name (never liked it) and replacing it with my maiden name while adding my new last name. My father only has girls and while he is fine with us changing our names, my FI and I plan to use my last name for the first name of our son if we are ever blessed to have one.

  I really dont like my fiance's last name I would prefer not to change mine, but I know he wants me to and its expected so I will.  I probably will drop my middle name and then keep using my maiden name at work.

  I changed my last name.  You should have seen the way he was staring at my new license, he loved it! lol.  I have 2 brothers to carry on my maiden name and had no problems taking on my hubby's name
