Puff N Stuff

I was wondering if any of you ladies post and pre wedding have experience with Puff N Stuff and with their venue the Church St. Ballroom?

I greatly appreciate any feedback!  TIA!

I went to look at the Church Street Ballroom and met with Puff n Stuff's rep for that venue (Heidi George is her name maybe?). The venue is really pretty but it was too big for us. Heidi (?) was very nice and helpful, not pushy at all. Out of all the people I met with when looking at venues she was the best at communicating and following up. I haven't tried their food, but the reason we looked at the venue was because someone who works in the wedding industry recommended Puff n Stuff to my mom.

Sorry I don't have more info. Like you I'm living in DC and planning an Orlando wedding which is frustrating at times.

Haha yes it is, especially since our original venue fell through. So we are now we have to find a new venue.

Good luck with your planning and if you ever want to meet for coffee or something let me know :)

    thank you for that information!

Did you look into the hotels in Lake Mary?  The Marriott and the W?  Are they in your price range?  There is also a Hilton in Altamonte Springs and the Highland Manor in Apopka.

I met with Heidi at Puff N Stuff but did not use her.

Why did you not use her tinkerbelle?

Yes we have looked at those hotels the W is expensive and not very pretty in my opinion.  Lake mary marriot is booked every year for a convention on our date and is only available in November.

The Highland Manor is too small for our guests and my Fiance doesn't appreciate the look of southern charm.

I have looked really everywhere. I am just trying to get reviews about the service with Puff N Stuff and the Ballroom as my FMIL wants us to look at this location.

I looked at the Ballroom at ChurchStreet. It's definitely an absolutely beautiful venue.  I suggest taking a look at it.  We ended up not going with it because it was just too pricey. (It was in our top 3 though!)
On another note and I am not sure if this is accurate, but I heard from another bride (from a personal experience), that they were very helpful and responsive when booking there, but when it came down to the planning and execution they weren't nearly as helpful. She said once her and her FI booked it almost seemed like they didn't have time for them or whatever.  That having been said, I would take it with a grain of salt, as I am not speaking from personal experience.  I can say the venue is breathtaking and we were still highly considering.

A friend used them last year and HIGHLY recommended them. I already was all set in that aspect when she mentioned them, so I didn't use them, but she reallyyyy loved them.

I used Puff N Stuff for my wedding at leu gardens last week. Worked with Heidi Brice and despite her maternity leave in the middle of our planning, she was WONDERFUL. There were a few tiny little issues day of (I had to ask them to put plates out for the grooms cake) but nothing I worried about. Whenever I asked for something the staff was INCREDIBLY responsive. I got rave reviews from ALL of my guests about the food and the service. I'll be writing up a full review when I have a little more time, but I would VERY highly recommend them. The menue we put together is in my bio and the cake lady they work with (or you can coordinate your own) is AMAZING too!

Thank you ladies this was helpful.   Would you say eso that you liked the quality of the food?  We have major foods, especially FI at this wedding.

I have a wedding planner already so she will be the one working with them on coordinating the event so not too worried about that.

My only experience with Puff n Stuff is at my job. They catered our executive meetings and the food and presentation was always excellent!

puff n stuff was our catering company at our wedding and everything was excellent, especially the cake!

The cake was the best thing Ive ever eaten. I had them make a sandwich bar with various meats, cheeses and breads (a custom make your own thing) and had a mashed potato bar which my co-workers are STILL raving about.

I had used them previously to cater evens for both my previous employer and FI's previous employers and have ALWAYS been VERY happy with their service and their food.

I had weird requests (had to have them subcontract a rabbi for 5 glatt kosher meals) and added a chapagne toast and plated salads literally a week before the wedding. Like I previously said, even with her maternity leave, I ALWAYS felt that my contact there was taking excellent care of us. They may be a little more expensive than other companies, but you pay for quality.

Also, they gave my parents all of the leftovers. Nobody was hungry and my family ate off of the leftovers for about 4 days after. Heidi NEVER orders too little food.

I'm using Puff N Stuff for my wedding in April. I went to a tasting with Arthur's and Puff N Stuff. The quality of the food was really good at both places, but Puff N Stuff just appealed to me more. They created a very custom menu for us and I worked with Mary through my planner and everything so far has been good. Mary has been quick to respond, and  I can be very difficult considering we revised our menu about 10 times before finally deciding.
