    Out here in the cornfields, I love Tusk Thai in Batavia (BYOB!).

    In the city, I love Karyn's cooked and the Soupbox.

    Uh huh - we went there a year or so ago and really enjoyed it.  Keep meaning to go back.

    We went to Karyn's Raw a few times.  A friend of ours had cancer and he was eating raw so we went with him and his spouse a couple of times.  Interesting.  Then we found there was a Karyn's cooked and they always had at least one raw meal on their menu at all times, so we ended up going there as well.

    I had my engagement party at Carnivale!

    But my favorite neighborhood place is Gemini Bistro in Lincoln Park. In teh suburbs its Zak's Place in Hinsdale.

    I looove Tango Sur in Lakeview. Great BYOB Argentinian restaurant.

    I also love tapas. Cafe Ba Ba Reeba in Lincoln Park is my choice in the city, and La Tasca (Arlington Heights) is my choice in the 'burbs.

    I haven't been to any of the places except Chiboo's and those are probably my fav!

    I also like Kanela Breakfast Club and Tavern on Rush for brunch.

    MK, if you haven't been there you should really try it.  this is actually where we got engaged.  If you are more of the burger person, the owner of MK opened DMK burger.  I believe there is one in Lakeview and also out in Lombard.  SOOOO delicious!

    Icosium Cafe - breakfast (Andersonville). They have amazing crepes and Turkish coffee. Yum.

    Cozy Noodle on Clark in Lakeview has great Thai food, and it's BYOB. I've been going there for years and year. The panang noodle is pretty excellent!
