Bridezilla Ivy--Long post...

Hi Ladies, long time no chat...

Hope everyone is good...I just wanted to remind everyone to check out part 2 of our episode on Bridezilla's :)

Here is our wedding info for anyone interested. my job blocked me from the knot, so I don't post here often, but feel free to email me with any questions to ycon1826@yahoo

Otherwise, I will be checking Monday for thoughts and comments on this week's episode (good or bad)
and yes Mariah, bring all the ugly, because I'm sure you have a lot to write about. We currently got offered a new show and the feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Here is my vendor info and a mini-review

Ceremony: Marty Leonard (amazing venue, great to work with, the Friday rehearsal time is scheduled during rush hour so plan accordingly

Reception: Bass Hall, Van Cleburne- James was amazing and they went above and beyond my expectations

Food- City Kitchen- Brandi was the BEST vendor ever, she totally made up for the horrible service I received from Bridal Associates

Day of Coordinator-Bridal Associates-Horrible!! Chelsea with Bridal Associates is great, but Jessica was my last minute coordinator since Sarah was going to be pregnant during my wedding and she did nothing but complain about all the cameras and hide in the back eating pizza, I complained to Chelsea about it later, but all she said was sorry. 

side note-For all those who wanted to know, I could have totally bad mouthed any of my vendors, but I choose not to, but I definitely recommend the knot referrals because I trusted most of them

DJ-Ken Savage, totally nice guy, heard he was a great dj from a bride on knot, but he didn't do a good job at our wedding, actually he did a horrible job, but he is such a nice person I feel horrible for giving him a bad review

videographer- Adam Kegg, great guy but we are just now getting our video from our November Wedding because he over booked himself

Make-up- Tony from Mac store in Parks Mall (he is the manager there, so just ask for him)

photobooth-Don Stevens Photography (AMAZING!! they were great and Don is the coolest guy ever)

photographer-McGowan Images, our package was affordable and her pictures were gorgeous, she seemed to be uncomfortable with the 7 Bridezilla camera crew, but our wedding book was Perfect, so I can't complain

    oops I forgot to list my favorite vendor ----my good friend Kristina Kamo Fanelli with KOI Images who did our e-pix, she has done a few girls from the knot and she is very talented and has affordable prices

    Good luck with a new show Ivy! I honestly think you didn't come off as too bridezillaish, just a control freak (as I am) with maybe a bit of a shrieking side Smile--see a post we wrote about it earlier this week below--and I'm dying to know, did they make you amp up the drama/yelling for the show, because it didn't seem natural.

    Your wedding was beautiful--best wishes to you both.

    I agree with Marissa, you didn't come off that bad in the first episode.  I have seen way worse on that show.  I'll be watching (or DVRing) the episode this Sunday.

    I'll be watching part 2 tonight as well.  IMO, you weren't a bridezilla; yeah you scream/shriek way 2 much for my taste BUT I believe most ladies on TK understand we are all perfectionists when it comes to putting a wedding together...good luck w/your 2nd show offer.Smile

    you weren't bad at all!! your mother reminds me of my FMIL. my FMIL is the kind that would buy a white dress and say "what, oh, i didn't know!" - which is her fav saying. and i would have actually gotten ticked off if my friends had showed up late and i probably would have went home - i HATE late people!
    your wedding was beautiful and you looked amazing. congrats!

    actually, Ivy, I don't have anything to say about it because I never watched it and honestly don't care at this point.  The only thing I saw was the preview.  Sorry your mom wanted to wear a little white dress.  That's about all I have to say.

    It was not that bad. I think the previews made it look worse than what it was. There was just alot of screaming and that would not work in my family. lol

    Ivy - I enjoyed watching you on Bridezilla - thanks for the vendor information - I'm always looking for something. I'm also having my ceremony at Marty Leonard.
