  How do you usually like to wear your hair?
  
  Personally for me I like the half up half down with curls. Thats just what i usually do. I would do something that makes you comfortable. can we see a pic of your dress?

  Yes, a pic of your dress and/or you may help. But I would schedule some hair trials or experiment with it yourself. From what you have described, half up and half down would be pretty, but it also depends on what hair/head piece you are going to wear, etc. I would take your hair/head pieces to your hair trials so your hair dresser can work with it.

  I think all your hair up would look good with a halter dress...like pp said, do trials.

  Go with what you are comfortable with - even ask your stylist.  I think you could do whatever style you really want.  I bought my hair accessories after I decided on how I was going to wear my hair, because I didn't want to be restricted by the accessories.
  
  I personally like all up - this way it wont get caught at all in your dress.
