Casual venue in McCall, ID?

Hello, Idaho board!  I'm just recently engaged, and we are considering my fiance's hometown, McCall, as the wedding venue.  We want to have a casual outdoor party and I was wondering if anyone had ideas for where we might look.  Thinking a park or summer camp might work well.  Has anyone been to this type of wedding in McCall that went well, or had experience researching venues there?

    You might try Ponderosa State Park. Or Brundage ski resort.

    I'm having my wedding just south of McCall in Lake Fork and renting a private ranch for the affair. I'm sure there would be an area in Ponderosa State Park, just remember there is a $5.00 per car entrance fee and where you choose may have grass.

    I was wondering if you've found a venue in McCall yet? I recently got engaged ( Woo Hoo!!) and am going down to McCall in a couple weeks to check out some possible venues.. Just wanted to see what sort of feel you've gotten from avaliablity, pricing, and accomidations offered.   Thanks  :)

    The Train Depot or The Party Barn are great spots -- don't know how "casual" you want.

    train depot is in Boise 2hrs south of McCall, i've never heard of the party barn.
