Should I feel like crap?

Im getting married on February 4th- a little over two months away. I have a 300+ guest list, tons of family (both my and his side) and friends that live in my same town, and 7 bridesmaids... and no one has even mentioned wanting to throw a shower for me. I know they arent required and are a nice offer from loved ones as a gift, and I wouldnt dream of asking anyone, but is it natural for me to feel a little upset? Probably sounds selfish, but I guess im being emotional...

    Are you sure they aren't planning a surprise?

    It's fine to be sad if you don't get one - but keep in mind sometimes you don't hear about them because people are planning to trick you.  ;-)

    Ditto this!  I know it's not, but February sounds SO far away.  I'm sure someone will bring it up after Christmas, which is still tons of time.  : )

    First of all, you have almost three whole months, not two.

    I'm a month behind you and my showers aren't until 1-1.5 months before hand.

    Relax, there's plenty of time.

    I agree with these other ladies.. February is a few months away and there's still time for them to throw you a party. It's probably in the works and they're just waiting for the holiday season to be done. I get how you feel though, but try to relax and just wait it out a bit. Remember to breathe! =)

    I'm getting married on the 10th of February & mine isn't until Dec. 4th..you still have some time for them to throw one. With the holidays being so close if you don't get one don't be upset. You never know though..it may just be a surprise!! Just try & not worry about it...it's not the end of the world. You still have a wedding to look forward to!!

    My wedding is 6 weeks away and I am almost positive I am not having a shower. I am slightly disappointed but I also realize it is one less thing I will have to make time for...
