Iberostar Lindo Riveria Maya

I know this is the hineymoon board but I was wondering if anyone was going to this resort or has been there.  We are looking at going in June and wondered if anyone had any experiences. It's just my husband and I and the main reason we are choosing this resort is because he loves everything there is to do within the resort area.  Just wondering if anyone has been to the resort and if so what your likes and dislikes were. I'm also wondering if anyone felt it was a couples friendly resort or if you felt it was over-run with children. I'd love any information!!! TIA

    We went to the Iberostar Grand Paraiso for our honeymoon. All of their resorts are on the same property. The Grand Paraiso is adults only, so you wouldn't have to worry about the kids!  That one was definitely couples friendly! It probably costs more, but it was worth it. Plus, you'd had privileges at all of their other properties (Lindo), but other properties don't have privileges at the Grand.  The staff was fabulous and the dinners were shockingly yummy. We didn't go check out any of the others on the property, so I can't speak to the Lindo, but we loved the Grand!

    My brother had a DW at Iberostar RM.  They stayed in both Del Mar (pre-wedding) and the Grand (post-wedding) and said without a doubt that the Grand was much nicer.  They've visited twice since the wedding and stayed at the Grand.  They said now that they know the difference, they wouldn't "downgrade".

    For their wedding my family stayed Del Mar, which I think is "lower" than Del Mar.  It was okay, but all pretty basic (room-wise)
