What's the dumbest thing you've heard someone say today (or this week)?

Here's mine, from today....

Voicemail from student: "Hi Ms. Moody, I'm calling to get my final grade from your class..." 
Response: "Hi (insert name here)! I'll be happy to send you your final grade - once you take the final exam that's been waiting for you since February 14." 
*bangs head on desk*

    Faculty Member from our Dept (speaking to another grad student C): oh, hi, who's your advisor
    C: Dr. F
    Faculty Member: Oh.  Are you taking the First Year Intro Class this semester?
    C: Um No
    Me: Uh, she's been here 4 years, same as me
    Faculty Member: Um, Oh, well I'm not around all that much

    Ok. There are only 10 grad students in my dept (and like 11 faculty).  There is no excuse for thinking that a 4th year grad student is a new student.  Especially since we all give seminars each year.  (this conversation occured just before C and I gave our seminars)

    "So, did you have a good time at your shower?"  Said by one of the hostesses to the bride. Like the bride is actually going to say "No, it sucked. Should have had fewer games and more xyz."
