  I used Olga's for alterning prom dresses, (not BM dress), and have used her for other things also.  Her work is good, but I couldn't tell you about the price for altering the dress because that was several years ago.  I know for hemming pants, it runs around $10 per pair.  It usually takes about a week or so to get alterations done.

  I have heard amazing things about her. I have not personally used her but I knew someone who did.

  I used her last year to make a minor adjustment to the top of a BM dress. She did a good job, and it wasn't too expensive. I think around $30? I would imagine that shortening length on a simple dress would be similar.
