Heritage Hills Golf Resort

Does anyone have experience with the Heritage Hills golf resort?

I have been in contact with "them" for a while and they refuse to meet on a weekend.  The manager told me that he is the only wedding staff person they have, so does that mean that no one is there for your wedding day??  I'm so confused on why they are so unhelpful!

We had both our ceremony and reception there in May 2009.  I have nothing but great things to say about Heritage Hills.

They were extremely accomodating and very helpful.  They may not be able to meet with you on weekends due to weddings and other events going on.

Tony was great to work with and they did have a day-of coordinator as well.

Let me know if you have further questions.  I am usually on the Nest, rather than the Knot.

We had a hard time getting an appointment as well. There was no call  back like promised, and a whole ordeal making a weekend appt (we live in NYC and obviously couldn't come during the week). We just gave up b/c it was a headache too early on. The grounds/reception location are beautiful though so goodluck!

Hi, I'm getting married at Heritage Hills in June 2011. I had a problem setting up my original meeting with Tony. He emailed me that he was available 7:30-4:30 M-F and I work until 5:30. I called him and we arranged to meet in the evening during the week. As long as it's not a Friday, he said it shouldn't be a problem.

The grounds are beautiful and worth checking out! Also, don't let the minimum purchases per room scare you! We met with Tony and crossed HH off our list because it was way too expensive for the room we wanted. After a few weeks, we called back and were able to negotiate a better room for a lower price! Tony was very accomodating with our budget and he fit us in for another look before we signed our contract and was able to allow us to do some different bar options than were originally offered.  I will admit that his personality via email is not very professional/pleasant at times, but in person, he is great to work with.

    Hope that helps!

Tony was very helpful for us, but when we were told to "stop in" to see the property, no one was there.  I ended up having a random person let me look around but we were very rushed, and felt like we were inconveniencing them, when I actually called to make sure it was okay to come at the time we did, and they said yes.  We were looking at a lot of places, so that was an easy way to eliminate it.  I do think that it's gorgeous though, we just found a location closer to my chuch!  Good luck!

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one who has had issues.  Btw, to anyone who replied to this post...apparently HH is watching because after my initial post i received a nasty gram from Tony about how accomodating he thought he has been even though we still have not set up an appt.!
