    I don't think we're doing anything big, since we just got so much for the wedding!  

    We may try to get a wedding album for ourselves, since we didn't get one with our package.

    I'm not sure we're doing presents.  We'll be on our HM at Disney so Christmas presents might be more like New Year's presents.

    He wants a new jacket
    I would like new earrings since I lost one of my diamond earrings :(

    DH and I just got new computers so that is our early (and only) Christmas present. 
    TTC since Sept 2009 with PCOS. 3 failed Clomid cycles; 3 failed IUI's; 1 failed injectable + TI cycle. Surprise BFP on 1/22/12 while waiting to start IVF! EDD 9/30/12.
    Missed m/c discovered 2/20/12 (8w1d). D&C 2/23/12

    I have no idea- FI said we shouldn't do presents because we're saving for the wedding, and then two weeks later he handed me a jewelry catalogue and asked me what I liked in it. So, I have no idea.

    Also if I need to start shopping for him... let me tell you he is the hardest person to shop for! All that comes to mind is "b-pics and food."

    Haha - fancy restaurants are a good idea ;)

    Last year we totally said no presents for the same reason - and then DH got me tickets to a show at DPAC!

    I didn't get him anything, haha.

    This year - I had him turned into a comic book hero and they printed a cover with him on it and it's framed :)

    We decided the trip to NYC in January is my present!

    We decided on no big presents as we are getting a wedding album for ourselves...and we are broke. lol.

    We are only doing stockings for each other.  So far I have pre-ordered Harry Potter and the HBP, but don't really have any other ideas.

    For my stocking stuffers, I have no clue what he is going to get me!

    Today, I bought DH a super nice (at least I think so) Fossil watch from Macy's, his old watch's little loop thing has broken twice and he keeps super gluing it, and he needs new shoes badly so Im going to get him a pair of Skechers. Smile

    DH really wants an aerogarden - so I think I'll get him a mini one and he also has been wanting a tea kettle sooo I'll probably get him one of those too.  And then little random things for his stocking.

    DH doesn't want anything. He wants to save the money. (He'll get a lot of stuff from his parents and mine, so he won't go presentless)

    He is getting me a camera.. haha I'm spoiled.

    I think I'm getting FI a truck toolbox for his truck and maybe a nice jacket or something. He also really wants to go to DC so maybe a surprise weekend there.

    I know he got me a Cricut Expression because he can't keep secrets at all! I'm super excited about it but really wish he hadn't spent that kind of money.

    We really aren't doing gifts but somehow DH said i don't have to contribute anything towards our trip to st. John and that's my present.  I don't ask questions, I've been told under no circumstances not to buy him anything.  We're such losers when it comes to presents....I want this recession to be over and done with!

    Yea, we already talked about how we would rather spend the money getting family presents and for us only small stuff.  Reading through the posts though, stockings only might be the best way for us to go! We are so broke lol from moving and job switching. Well, probably because we are planning a wedding!!

    We're going to buy a bar cabinet as our present to ourselves. We really need a place to store all the super cute glasses, pitchers & liquor we got over the course of the wedding.

    DH always says no gifts or an x dollar amount limit and then never sticks to it. For our wedding since we had paid for the entire thing ourselves, we said a $50 limit on gifts. I spent $50 and he got me a macbook(which he says was a wedding, birthday, and christmas gift). So I'm not planning on getting anything from him. I got him some clothes, because he desperately needed them and never ever buys them for himself, and a nintendo DS. We'll do stockings too so I'll just get some small stuff for that.

    FI and I had decided since we're remodeling our house and paying for the wedding ourselves that we wouldn't do gifts this year. Just a week ago he sent me an e-mail with gift ideas in it.

    I know exactly what you mean swimher. FI always sets a limit and then goes over EVERY YEAR! Men...Wink
